Technology becomes truly transformative when clinicians and patients trust and use it, when it proves economically compelling, and when it works seamlessly in the real world.

None of that happens by itself. Promise becomes practice when products are built for the incentives, constraints and workflows of the systems that must adopt them.

About

I am a doctor. For twenty years I have worked where medtech meets health systems: at WHO, as COO of the effort to eradicate the second human disease in history; at UNICEF, overseeing $1.5 billion of health programming across South Asia; and as an executive at two medtech startups with global reach.

My career has spanned public and private, UK and global, startups and massive scale, and every level from the frontline to global boardrooms.

My experience spans the entire technology adoption lifecycle: clinical need → product design → evidence and regulation → procurement → implementation → scale. I draw on this to help companies to assess, and accelerate, the pathway from promising technology to adoption at scale.

I am a public health physician by specialty: Harvard MPH, the UK specialist register, Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health. Public health medicine is the discipline of clinical and economic evidence, of impact at scale, and of health systems from frontline delivery to national and global policy. Together with an MBA from London Business School, it is rigorous training for this work.

If you are building technology that health systems need, or deciding whether to back it, I would be pleased to connect.
